Knowledge Quarter Liverpool reveals new community referral scheme
Successful advocates will receive up to £500 of gift vouchers (as an individual) or invoiced equivalent (if a business) in return for helping to grow the local business community.
Knowledge Quarter Liverpool (KQ Liverpool) has launched KQ Reward, a community referral scheme providing tiered rewards for successful introductions of new customers to KQ Liverpool.
Already home to over 100 dynamic technology, science and digital-focused businesses, KQ Liverpool are looking to fill the final few offices and laboratory suites within Liverpool Science Park and Sensor City, with the potential for additional workspaces to be included within the scheme in the coming months.
Individuals participating in the KQ Reward scheme will be incentivised with vouchers worth up to £500, in return for recommending an inbound business which goes on to sign a lease at either innovation centre. Company originated recommendations will receive the equivalent value of reward as a referral fee.
“Our current customers and business networks are fantastic advocates for KQ Liverpool. By recommending other likeminded creators, pioneers and ground-breakers to join our community, it will further strengthen opportunities for growth and collaboration.
“With the third national lockdown now in effect, we believe that now is the ideal time to launch KQ Reward, working together to support our local businesses communities, thanking them for their ongoing endorsement and helping to reinvigorate the economy.”
Leanne Katsande, Head of Commercial at Liverpool Science Park
Voucher vendors participating in the reward scheme include Liverpool ONE, one of Europe’s leading retail and leisure destinations, and Land Coffee, an independent Liverpool start-up, based within Liverpool Science Park.
It is anticipated that growing the customer base within Liverpool Science Park and Sensor City through KQ Reward will lead to further innovation, creative research and development activity, and professional services support being undertaken in the heart of Liverpool, while redeeming the referral vouchers will help boost spending at local retail, hospitality and leisure outlets.
The KQ Reward community referral scheme covers a wide range of business space leases and licences, from virtual offices to full-floor suites, meaning that both start-ups and larger organisations are eligible to be accommodated. Whether looking to scale or move into flexible workspace, KQ Liverpool will work with the nominated business to find the right space for their operations.
KQ Reward is the second initiative to be introduced by KQ Liverpool in recent months, following the launch of KQ Base in December last year. Their new suite of business support programmes aims to attract inward investment into its world-leading innovation district as well as stimulate growth within existing Liverpool City Region businesses.
