Approaching LCR 4.0

E-Mailers wished to collaborate alongside LCR 4.0 in the hope they could test and validate a new product, not only internally, but to the market as well.
Working with LCR4.0 would allow e-Mailers to not only work with key organisations within the Liverpool City Region but to also utilise digital technologies available to them to improve current processes, including product development.

Partner Support

Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) approached e-Mailers in order to develop bespoke testing procedures where they could confidently improve their original designs in a shorter period of time to ensure their product could be launched and brought to market quicker, eliminating competitive threats.
LJMU also provide extensive data analysis to validate qualities of the new product against e-Mailers competitors within the industry.

Results

The results of the collaborate work included the creation of 100% recyclable packaging which not only allows e-Mailers to hugely improve their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy, but appeal to a wider and more ethically concerned customer.

We have developed an innovative new 100% recyclable packaging solution, which we believed had increased durability than any competitor.

Through LCR 4.0, experts at LJMU we were able to develop bespoke testing procedures and provide extensive data analysis to validate qualities of our new product against competitors.

We have been able to share these experimental results with our customers, which has directly led to in an increase in demand for our product and the need to start production.
