Black tie event
Now in their seventh year, Insider’s Made in the North West Awards are a celebration of all that’s great about manufacturing. But not just manufacturing in the sense of factory-made products, it also celebrates food and drink, automotive, science and technology.
The awards also celebrate collaboration, green and sustainable manufacturers and apprenticeship schemes.
Manufacturing is pivotal to the North West economy and the region’s manufacturers remain among the most innovative and dynamic in the world. From Manchester to Merseyside, Cheshire to Cumbria, and from East Lancashire to the Fylde Coast, the North West is a hotspot for manufacturing.
Once again, the winners of this year’s awards will automatically go through to the grand final Made in the UK, where the best of British manufacturing will be celebrated.
We are now inviting entries from manufacturers across the North West. Free to enter, the categories are as follows:
• Apprentice of the Year award
• Manufacturing apprenticeship/Training scheme award
• Digital Engineering/Technology Award
• Manufacturing Innovation Award
• Automotive Award
• Export Award
• Food & Drink Award
• Green/Sustainable Award
• Collaboration Award
• Manufacturer of the Year (under £25m)
• Manufacturer of the Year (over £25m)
The closing date for entries is 22 February.
Made in the North West and Made in the UK will be promoted within the region, across the UK and via digital channels to those with an interest in the North West and specific manufacturing sectors from across the world.
It’s time to fly the flag for North West manufacturers so join us on 9 May at the Lowry Hotel for this prestigious black-tie event.
