Google Digital Garage – Social Media and Digital Advertising sessions

Sensor City is very excited to be partnering up with The Digital Garage from Google – a digital skills training platform to assist you in growing your business, career and confidence online.

 

Google Digital Garage will be delivering three, free sessions at Sensor City focussing on Social Media and Digital Advertising. You are welcome to attend one or all of them, and each session will last for 1 hour.

 

The sessions are pitched at a Beginner-Intermediate level and are open to all companies, but will be particularly useful for start-ups and SMEs.

 

The sessions will take place on Wednesday 6th December at Sensor City.

 

Social Media Strategy
(9am – 10am)

Discover exactly where your small business needs to be seen and heard on the web in this short course designed for aspiring social media marketers. In just an hour, you’ll get a run down of the best social media platforms to use in 2017, plus your trainer will explain how to create a social media strategy that delivers the right goals for your business. We’ll cover the importance of defining a set of marketing guidelines too, so you can always stay on brand and on message.

 

Writing for Social Media
(10:15am – 11:15am)

Finding the right words to describe your business isn’t always easy, and it’s even harder when you have limited space or characters. This compact course is great for small business owners or aspiring social media marketers looking to develop their writing skills and produce slicker headlines and ad copy. You’ll also develop a tone of voice that means when you talk on social media, your customers will want to listen.

 

Getting Started with Digital Advertising
(11:30am – 12:30pm)

Social can be a highly effective way to grow your business, but knowing where to start can be tough. This course is designed to help small business owners or aspiring digital marketers understand how to use Search, Social and Display advertising using a simple, straightforward approach. You’ll come away knowing not only how to develop an advertising plan for your business, but also have the skills to know whether it’s delivering results.

 

Refreshments will be provided 15 minutes before the start of each session.
