The 3rd Digitalising Manufacturing Conference to be hosted by MTC in Coventry will address international collaboration opportunities, national policy as well as practical knowledge to drive industrial digitalisation from within UK value chains across 2 days.
Amongst the speakers will be our very own Anthony Walker of LJMU as part of the wider LCR 4.0 team. Here, Anthony will be showcasing some of the work already achieved with local SMEs as part of the ERDF funded project as well as give audiences a better idea as to what LCR 4.0 can offer to Manufacturing businesses based within the Liverpool City Region whilst aiding these businesses to adopt 4IR solutions and adopt Industry 4.0 technologies into their own processes.
Anthony Walker will also be discussing new business models and ecosystems on the second day, particularly the topic of supporting SMEs and driving the development of an ecosystem around Digital Manufacturing or Industry 4.0 areas. Other topics that will be discussed are cybersecurity, connectivity, analytics and skills.
As Siemens Chief Executive, Juergen Maier opens the conference, there are expected to be a good crowd with some great speakers.
