30 Jan Final call for LCR 4.0 business support
Time is running out to register for fully-funded support from LCR 4.0, a part ERDF-funded support programme helping SMEs in the manufacturing space embrace Industry 4.0 technologies.
To date, LCR 4.0 has helped over 197 SMEs in Liverpool, Knowsley, Halton, St Helens, Sefton and Wirral explore the benefits and challenges of technologies including systems integration, Internet of Things (IoT) and augmented reality (AR).
As a result, manufacturers have been able to assess production challenges and experience benefits such as increased efficiencies, reduced costs and greater insights into data.
LCR4.0 is delivered in partnership by the University of Liverpool’s Virtual Engineering Centre (VEC), Liverpool John Moores University (specifically ETRI, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology Research Institute), Sensor City, STFC Hartree Centre (part of the Science and Technology Facilities Council) and the Liverpool City Region LEP (Local Enterprise Partnership).
