Arab Healthcare Exhibition 2017

Between the 30th January and 2nd February 2017, the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre, United Arab Emirates welcomed over 4000 exhibitors to showcase the very latest technology within the healthcare Industry.

This is the second largest global healthcare exhibition and offered learning and relationship building opportunities as well as offering exhibitors a platform for their achievements within the sector.

Some of the sectors which were picked up on included Medical Technology, Laboratory Equipment, Diagnostics, Physiotherapy and Orthopedic technology, Commodities and consumer goods for hospitals, Information and communication technology in healthcare, Surgical Products and services, Facility management, Medical disposables, Healthcare building technology, Medical services, Radiology, Consulting services in healthcare, Cardiology, Medical Publications

The Virtual Engineering Centre (VEC) attended this fantastic event on behalf of the University of Liverpool  to showcase the very latest in Virtual Realities within the Healthcare Industry and presented some of our previous collaborative work alongside AlderHey Hospital. This shows how virtual technologies can bring real benefits to the health industry and offer new and exciting opportunities which can aid in pre-op planning, saving time and de-risking operations.
