Introducing the newly appointed LCR 4.0 marketing officer

LCR 4.0 has appointed Emma Rhodes as its new marketing officer to help promote the LCR 4.0 programme regionally, nationally and internationally. She will act as a support to the LCR 4.0 partners in all aspects of branding and communications and will help raise awareness amongst SMEs of the possibilities the programme presents.

Although primarily working on the LCR 4.0 project, Emma will be based at the Virtual Engineering Centre (VEC) where she will is also responsible for its overall marketing communications.

Emma joins the LCR 4.0 team after working in a marketing role in Manchester and is excited to be working on the project which is the first of its kind in the country. The project officially launched on 30th November 2016.

LCR 4.0 is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and enables SME businesses in the region to utilise the latest in digital technology to improve their manufacturing processes.

Over the course of the project, Emma will be responsible for organising events, marketing materials, press releases and feature editorials.

Commenting on her new role, Emma said: “I moved to Liverpool five years ago and absolutely love it here so it’s really exciting to working with such a fantastic team which is working towards driving growth in the region.

“I am looking forward to seeing how the project develops over the next three years as we strive to bring local SMEs in to the next industrial revolution.”
